Fulton Market Design Days ran June 8 through 10 in Chicago, and Cumberland was there for all of it. Our space at the Beaudega brought together three collections: Elle Modular seating, Christina occasional tables, and the Lloyd Collection as the centerpiece. Three days of conversations, connections, and product seen in person for the first time by a lot of the people who matter most to us.
Lloyd in the Room

Lloyd was designed for the in-between spaces. The lounge. The lobby. The casual area where people wait, regroup, and think between meetings. These spaces are moments of brand expression, but they're also functional ones, and the products found in them deserve as much attention as any other space in a building.

Seeing Lloyd at the Beaudega, in a shared space alongside Ultra Fabrics and Brentano Fabrics, made the intent legible in a way that photography alone doesn't fully convey. The scale, the material relationships, the way the pieces work together in an actual room. That's what a showroom is for.

Elle Modular and Christina were in the space as well, giving visitors a fuller picture of how the timeless quality of Cumberland allows various collections to sit seamlessly together in a space.
Tuesday Morning: Meet the Designer

On Tuesday morning, we opened the space up for anyone who wanted to come in, slow down, and have a real conversation. Mini croissants, cold brew, and Travis Clifton, the designer behind the Lloyd Collection, available to talk through the thinking behind the work.
Travis was there for the better part of the morning. For designers and specifiers who are used to experiencing product through a catalog or a sales presentation, spending time with the person who made the decisions, in front of the actual pieces, is a different thing entirely. The conversations that morning reflected that.
The People Who Came Through

Design Days is, above all, a relationship event. Our sales representatives carry Cumberland into their markets every day. Seeing them in the space, with product in front of them, is a reminder of what that work looks like when it comes together.
A sincere thank you to the teams who stopped by: CR Associates, CP Group, Howard Roark Associates, Redhead Enterprises, JCF Group, Sculptural Spaces Inc, Coyne Associates Inc., Hart Associates Inc, Allor Group, a-metro, and Downs and Associates.
We don't take it lightly when someone gives us their time during a week like this. We're glad you were there.
The HiP Award

The Lloyd Collection was recognized as an honoree in the 2026 Interior Design HiP Awards, Interior Design magazine's annual recognition of the most significant products in commercial design. The award in our category was presented to Davis Furniture, a company with a long and respected history in the industry. We congratulate their team on the recognition.
For us, being included among this year's finalists, Davis Furniture and KFI Studios, is meaningful in itself. Recognition at this level reflects the work behind the collection: thoughtful design, careful execution, and a clear point of view.
We're grateful to be part of the conversation and encouraged by what it suggests about the path we're on. We'll continue refining, building, and contributing work that earns its place through design, craft, and performance.
If You Weren't There
Design Days lasts three days. The conversations continue well beyond that.
If you weren’t in Chicago this year, the Lloyd Collection is available to explore on our website, and our representatives remain the best way to experience it in person. Reach out to the Cumberland representative in your region, or contact us directly.
We look forward to continuing the conversation and sharing the collection with you.
